19 Troubleshooting

You can rectify minor faults on the device yourself. Before contacting customer
service, please refer to the troubleshooting information. This way you avoid
unnecessary costs.

are dangerous.
Only trained specialist personnel may carry out repairs on the device.
Only original spare parts may be used for repairing the device.
If the power cord of this appliance becomes damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
Malfunction
The display is off and
flashing.
"E:30 / -80"
Cause and Troubleshooting
Energy saving mode is active.
Press (Start/Reload) . aThe
display lights up again.
Drain pipe or water drain hose is clogged.
Clean the drain pipe and the water drain hose.
Drain pipe or water drain hose is kinked or
trapped.
Make sure that the drain pipe and the water
drain hose are not kinked or trapped.
Water drain hose is connected too high.
Mount the water drain hose at a maximum height of 1
metre.
Unauthorized extension fitted to the water drain
hose.
Remove unauthorized extensions to the water drain
hose.

Drain pump is clogged.

Pump cover not assembled correctly.
Assemble the pump cover correctly.
Pump cover is not fully screwed in.
Make sure that the pump cover is screwed into the
device as far as it will go. The handle of the pump
cover must be vertical.
