Assembly
Handle (All Models)
1. Place the shift lever in the Forward-6 position.
2. Loosen the top two nuts securing the upper and lower
handle and remove the two carriage screws from the lower
handle and set aside as shown in See Figure 3-1 (A).
3. Observe the lower rear area of the snow thrower to be sure
both cables are aligned with roller guides before pivoting
the handle upward. See Figure 3-1 (B).

NOTE: Make certain the cables are seated properly in the
roller guides. See Figure 3-2.
4. Attach the two carriage screws and nuts removed in Step 2.
Finish securing the handle by tightening the top two nuts
loosened in Step 2. See Figure 3-1 (C).
5. Remove and discard any rubber bands, if present. They are
for packaging purposes only.
