Split system single phase type
3.1.2 Electrical System
Outdoor Unit Overvoltage
Check for possible causes in the list below (this list is
not exhaustive):
•
Problem with the compressor
•
Main board
•
Faulty power relay
Inspection of the IPM (mounted on transistor PCB) (Only for WO*A080LDC and
WO*A100LDT models)
Disconnect the connection wires between the
transistor PCB-Capacitor PCB and Transistor PCB-
Inverter compressor.
Set the tester to resistance mode, and measure the
resistance between the following terminals :
TM301 (P) – TM305 (U) / TM304 (V) / TM303 (W)
TM302 (N) – TM305(U) / TM304 (V) / TM303 (W)
Judge the results as follows :

Steps to be followed before performing any work
on the Inverter module:
•
First switch off the system using the circuit
breaker at the head of the line.
•
Remove the unit cover and then remove the
Inverter module cover.
•
Measure the voltage at the condenser terminals.
You should find a value of 5 Vdc or less.
