OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TIMER
The timer function can be used to turn the appliance
on or off after a period of time to conserve energy.
To set the timer to turn the appliance off:
1. While the appliance is running, press the timer
button. The time display will fl ash.
2. Press the up and down buttons to choose the
number of hours before the appliance will turn
off.
3. Wait 5 seconds to confi rm the setting. The timer
icon will illuminate.
To set the timer to turn the appliance on:
1. Turn the appliance on and choose the desired
mode and settings. Turn the appliance off.
2. While the appliance is turned off, press the timer
button. The time display will fl ash.
3. Press the up and down buttons to choose the
number of hours before the appliance will turn
on.
4. Wait 5 seconds to confi rm the setting. The timer
icon will illuminate.
Notes: Turning the appliance on or off at any time
or adjusting the timer setting to 0 hours will cancel
the timer settings.
TURBO
The turbo setting will run the air conditioner at
maximum settings to cool the room as quickly
as possible. Press the turbo button and the turbo
symbol will fl ash 10 times on the display. The fan
speed and temperature cannot be adjusted.
LOUVER
The louver can be adjusted to direct the fl ow of air.
Press the swing button on the remote control to turn
the louver on. It will move up and down. Press the
louver button again when the louver reaches the
desired angle.

CHILD LOCK

Activate the child lock by pressing the temperature
control buttons on the remote control at the same
time for 3 seconds. The buttons on the remote
control cannot be used while the child lock is active.
To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the
temperature control buttons at the same time for 3
seconds.
SLEEP
The sleep function can be used to conserve energy
during sleeping hours. The sleep function can only
be used during cool mode.
When selected, the set temperature will increase by
1 degree per hour for 2 hours. The air conditioner
will hold the new set temperature for 6 hours and
then will return to normal operation.
The sleep function can only be activated with the
remote control and can be canceled at any time by
pressing the sleep button.
FOLLOW ME
The follow me feature can only be activated from
the remote control.
The remote control has a thermostat inside of
it. Keep the remote control with you and the
air conditioner will automatically adjust the set
temperature based on the ambient temperature at
your location. This feature is available in cool mode
and can be used within 7 meters (23 feet).
To activate follow me, press the turbo button and
then press the temperature control buttons until the
follow me icon appears on the display and then
press the turbo button to confi rm the selection.
The remote control display will show the actual
ambient temperature at its location. The remote
control will send a signal to the air conditioner
every 20 minutes to update the set temperature. If
the air conditioner does not receive a signal from
the remote control during any 25 minute period, the
follow me feature will deactivate.
To deactivate follow me, press the turbo button and
then press the temperature control buttons until the
follow me icon fl ashes on the display and then press
the turbo button to confi rm the selection.
