POSSIBLE CAUSE
Milk has been delivered recently and the
tubes inside the milk container must be
cleaned (D).
The milk container has been inserted
with the froth adjustment dial (D1) in the
"CLEAN" position.
The machine must be descaled.
The water softener filter (C4) is
exhausted.
The inside of the appliance is very dirty.
The appliance needs descaling and/or the
filter (C4) must be replaced.
The tubes inside the milk container (D)
must be cleaned.
REMEDY
Turn the froth adjustment dial (D1) to CLEAN (fig.
21).
Turn the dial to the required froth position.
Press "
descale later. The descaling procedure described in
section "17. Descale" needs to be performed.
Press "
" to carry out the procedure later. Follow the
instructions in section "19. Water softener filter".
Clean the inside of the appliance thoroughly, as
described in section "16. Cleaning". If the message
is still displayed after cleaning, contact a service
centre.

needs replacing or removing as described in section
"19. Water softener filter".
