Tip
• When you sing along with TV broadcasts or music played back on equipment
connected to the LINE IN jacks on the VCR, play the music source and follow steps
1 and 4.
Notes
• If the sound is reproduced through a stereo amplifier, turn down the volume of
amplifier before operation.
• If streaks appear during playback, select the colour system that the tape was
recorded in (see "To set the colour system" on page 28).
• If feedback occurs, turn down the microphone or TV volume, or move the
microphone away from the speakers.
Using the supplied microphone
You can control some of the VCR's karaoke functions with the microphone.
1 CHOI button
Press and hold to rewind the tape while
viewing the picture.
2 ˜/n buttons
Change the pitch in Key Control mode
(page 50).
Set the harmony interval in Self Duet
mode (page 51).
3 KEY/S.D./OFF selector
Select KEY or S.D. to switch the
microphone on in the Key Control mode
or the Self Duet mode. Select OFF to
switch the microphone off.
Note
• The ˜/n buttons and KEY/S.D. button on the microphone may not operate with
other VCRs.
