    Step 4 Tuning your TV to the VCR If you have connected your VCR to the TV using the audio/video cable, skip this step. Press RF CH SET on the VCR with a ball-point pen, etc. RF CH The factory-preset RF channel appears in the display window.

  • Page 21 Setting up G-CODE for satellite broadcasts When your satellite tuner is connected via the AERIAL IN connector, first you have to set the programme position for each satellite channel using the TUNER PRESET menu. Then set the guide channel number for each satellite channel using the SET UP CH AND G-CODE menu.

    Recording TV programmes using the quick timer QUICK TIMER After starting recording in the normal way, you can have the VCR stop recording automatically after a specified duration. While recording, press QUICK TIMER on the VCR once. Press QUICK TIMER repeatedly to set the duration. Each press advances the time in increments of 30 minutes.

SCORE Start singing and press SCORE. “SCORE” appears on the TV screen, and the VCR starts analysing your singing. Press SCORE again after singing for more than one minute. Your score appears on the TV screen for five seconds.
  • Page 56 Karaoke sing-along (continued) Competing for the loudest voice The VCR measures and displays the loudness of the voice numerically when you shout into SHOUT the microphone. Press SHOUT. “SHOUT” appears in the display window (English on-screen display only) and the VCR starts a countdown on the TV screen. Shout into the microphone when the VCR counts down to 0.
