Faults
12 V battery discharged
The combination instrument
shows nothing on the display
Speedometer in combination
instrument not functioning
Possible cause
Ignition was not switched off
when vehicle was parked
The 12-V battery is not being
charged by the alternator
Fuse 2 is blown
Speedometer wiring harness is
damaged or plug-in connector
is oxidized

Action

Charge the 12-V battery.

Check the charging voltage.

Check the open-circuit current.

Change the fuses of individual electri-
cal power consumers. (
