Release the ZIF connector (1) the display panel cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
display panel cable from the system board.

Release the display panel cable from the retention clips (6) that are built into the computer.
5.
Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 3.8 screws that secure the display assembly to the computer.
6.
Swing the top edge of the display assembly (1) away from the computer until it is open to a
90-degree angle.
7.
Separate the display assembly (2) from the computer.
