Additional domain names to be used with primary
domain name (for example, a.customer.com or

trying to resolve a short name (for example:

servers.company.com).
This field is not required and may be left blank. If it is
left blank then no search string is set for the cluster.
The public IP addresses are the data path connections
to the customer network. They are used for all of the
Ethernet data path connections the file modules. At
least 2 addresses are recommended (1 per node). The
data path connections use Ethernet bonding, so a
single IP address (along with a subnet mask and
gateway) is used for all available Ethernet ports on a
singlefile module. The system automatically load
balances between the physical ports on a single file
module.
Where subnet is the numeric IP address of the public
network (data path). It is used for all of the Ethernet
data path connections.
This is the subnet mask associated with the previous IP
address.
This is the CIDR (/XX) equivalent of the subnet mask
that was specified previously. Look up the subnet mask
(specified previously) then refer to the Table 12 on page
49 and find the CIDR equivalent and record it on this
line. It must be between /0 and /32.
This is the numeric gateway of the data path
connection to the customer network. It is used for all
of the Ethernet data path connections on a single file
module.
Additional gateways are the data path connection to
the customer network. It is used for all of the Ethernet
data path connections on a single 2851-SI1 file module
