Crops the right and left edges of the image.
LETTER BOX:

Compresses the image horizontally.
Sets the setup level of 480i video signals.
0%:
Setup is switched to 0 % for both output and recording
signals.
7.5% A:
Setup is switched to 7.5 % for the output signal and 0 %
for the recording signal.
Sets camera-recorder operating mode when an external
device is connected via USB.
USB HOST:
Selects USB 2.0 for connecting an external hard disk
drive. (Page 109)
USB DEVICE:
Nonlinear editing of video data on P2 cards can be
performed by connecting the camera via the USB2.0
connection cable to a computer for editing. (Page 107)
