Testing Target System Memory
Two ways to run the memory tests
Many times when a system under test fails to operate as expected, you will
need to determine whether the failure is in the hardware or the software.
These tests verify operation of the memory hardware in the system under test.
Two ways to run the memory tests
There are two methods for accessing and running the emulation probe's built-
in memory tests:
• Through the Emulation Control Interface of a 16700-series logic analysis
system
• Using a command line interface (also called terminal interface)
You can use the command line interface through a terminal emulator or
through a command window in your debugger.
