Replacing a hard drive
The 2.5 inch primary hard drive is installed on the left side of the computer on top of the optical disc drive
(ODD). To locate the hard drive on the system board, see

1.
Remove the access panel.

Pull the hard drive latch away from the hard drive (1) to release the drive.
3.
Slide the hard drive toward the edge of the computer and lift the hard drive out of the drive cage (2).
4.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the hard drive (3).
