Switches
Light Switch
The ignition switch key must be in the ON/RUN position
to operate the headlights. Press the top of the rocker
switch toward the dash to place the headlights on high
beam. Move the rocker switch to the center position to
place the headlights on low beam. Press the bottom of the
rocker switch to turn off the headlights.
All Wheel Drive (AWD) Switches
Each model is equipped with an AWD switch that controls
the All Wheel Drive System. The type of AWD switch
used depends on the type of All Wheel Drive system in
your model.
AWD/Differential Lock Switch
The AWD/Differential Switch has three positions:
• All Wheel Drive (AWD)
• Differential Lock (2WD)
• Differential Unlock

POLARIS 3-Mode Throttle Control Switch
The 3-Mode Throttle Control switch has three positions:
• Performance
• Standard
• Work
The Performance setting maximizes throttle reponse for
quick acceleration along with full HP and torque.
Standard provides a balance of throttle response and full
HP and torque for everyday activities.
Work optimizes slow speed drivability for performing precise tasks by limiting throttle
response and maximum throttle oprning.
NOTE:
Always use Low gear for any of the following conditions regardless of the selected throttle
control settings and refer to page for more information on gear selection:
• Operating in rough terrain or over obsticles
• Loading the vehicle onto a trailer
• Towing heavy loads
• Driving frequency at low RPM or a ground speed below 7 MPH
