Ethernet Connections

Problems and Solutions

Solutions to some common issues are listed below.
Problem
The camera displays a wireless error.
The camera displays a TCP/IP error.
The camera displays an FTP error.
"Connecting to computer" does not
clear from the camera display.
The camera displays the message,
"Ethernet cable is not connected".
The camera displays a "no memory
card" error.
Upload is interrupted and fails to
resume.
The connection is unreliable.
Connection settings require adjustment. Check settings
for the wireless router, FTP server, or host computer and
adjust camera settings appropriately (

Select [USB-LAN] for [USB data connection] in the
network menu and then connect an Ethernet cable via
a third-party USB-to-Ethernet adapter inserted in the
