Maintenance
For any maintenance or repair operations it is
recommended to contact the nearest technical service
center or Lincoln Electric.
performed by unauthorized service centers or personnel

The frequency of the maintenance operations may vary
in accordance with the working environment. Any
noticeable damage should be reported immediately.
Check cables and connections integrity. Replace, if
necessary.
Keep clean the machine. Use a soft dry cloth to
clean the external case, especially the airflow inlet /
outlet louvers.
Do not open this machine and do not introduce anything
into its openings. Power supply must be disconnected
from the machine before each maintenance and service.
After each repair, perform proper tests to ensure safety

Scrolling dash Appears at power up while the machine is going through its self configuration.
"Err" "####"
Fault code display. The first fault to occur will be displayed for three
seconds. The display will cycle through fault codes for all faults that persist
after the initial three-second period are displayed for 1 second each.

Weld mode is changing

Machine output is on. Left display is current, right display is voltage. If
(on steady)
actively welding, the displays are arc current and arc voltage. If not actively
welding, the display will show workpoint.

Weld just finished – the average arc voltage and current will be blinked for 5
(blinking)
seconds following a weld. If the workpoint changes during this 5 second
period, the display will revert to the above mode.
"no" "H2O"
No Water. The water flow sensor has detected a water flow shut down (<0.7
l/min).

Glitch on the primary over current fault interrupt; possibly caused by noise or
a signal level (misc. hardware fault #1).

Main CPU problem. The DSP has detected a problem with the CPU.

Glitch on the CAP/heart beat interrupt; possibly caused by noise or a signal
level right at the trip threshold (misc. Hardware fault #2).

Motor overload-average motor current exceeded 8.00 A for more than 0.50

torch selection switch. Set
this switch according to the
torch model (air cooled or
water cooled) being used.
Check the water cooler.
Check the water circuit.
Check the machine ground.

authorized Shop.
Verify motor armature is not
binding. Verify Wire Spool is
not binding.
Verify wire can move freely in
cable. Verify Spool Brake is
not set to tight.
