! Release parking
brake.
! Too much force
applied to the
steering wheel.
Steering position is
not straight. Turn
the steering wheel
to LEFT (or
RIGHT).

Cause
The system has temporarily
overheated.
There is a malfunction in
the voice guidance system.
The hybrid system has not
been started.
The parking brake has
been applied.
You are exerting too much
pressure on the steering
wheel.
The steering wheel and
tires are not straight.
What to do
Turn the "POWER" switch to
OFF, then to ON mode. Wait a
few minutes before use.
Have your vehicle checked by
your Lexus dealer.
Turn the "POWER" switch to
ON mode and start the hybrid
system. If the message is still
displayed, have the vehicle
checked by your Lexus dealer.
Release the parking brake.
Loosen your grip on the steer-
ing wheel.
Turn the steering wheel until
tires are straight.
