5-4-3. AUDIO Input Adjustment
Preparation
. Connect the VSR-2000 to the measuring equipment.
. Connect a personal computer to the REMOTE RS232C
connector (rear panel).
. S1300-1, -3 (B-1)/ENC-62 → ON
. S1300-2, -4 (B-1)/ENC-62 → FF
. S600 (F-2)/ENC-62 → ON
. S601 (F-3)/ENC-62 → +4
. S602 (F-2)/ENC-62 → +4
. Turn on the power of the VSR-2000 and warm up the
unit about 10 minutes.
. Open the Utility screen of the supplied BZSR-2000 trial
version and set the Video Format to either "NTSC" or
"PAL". (For more details, refer to the operation manual
in the BZSR-2000 trial version CD-ROM.)
. Shut down the BZSR-2000. Remove the VSR-2000 front
panel and change the connection with a personal com-
puter to the EXT-232C connector on the front side.
. Rotate the service port selection switch to set it to the
slot in which the ENC-62 board is installed. (Slot 1 : 8,
Slot 2 : 9, Slot 3 : A)
. Start the terminal software (HyperTerminal in the case of
Windows) of a personal computer.
. Set the communication speed as follows:
Baud rate
Parity
Flow control
Stop bit length
Data bit length
. Press the [ENTER] key of a personal computer to
check that the prompt AENC> appears on the terminal
software display.

5-4. ENC-62 Board Adjustment (BKSR-2021)
1. AUDIO INPUT level adjustment
Preparation
. Input the 1 kHz, +4 dB signal from the audio oscillator.
. Connect the composite 100% color bar signal (100/0/
100/0) to the video input from the video signal generator.
. Press the [A] and [ENTER] keys of a personal comput-
er at the same time to enter the adjustment mode. Check
that the message [Step No. 1] Audio Input Level Adjust-
ment appears on the terminal software display.

Setting after Adjustment
. Press the [SPACE] key of a personal computer and
quit the adjustment mode.
. Return the respective switches to the original setups.
