5-4. ENC-62 Board Adjustment (BKSR-2021)
5-4-2. 625/50 (PAL) System
Preparation
. Connect the VSR-2000 to the measuring equipment.
. Connect a personal computer to the REMOTE RS232C
connector (rear panel).
. S1300-1, -3 (B-1)/ENC-62 → ON
. S1300-2, -4 (B-1)/ENC-62 → FF
. Turn on the power of the VSR-2000 and warm up the
unit about 10 minutes.
. Open the Utility screen of the supplied BZSR-2000 trial
version and set the Video Format to "PAL".
(For more details, refer to the operation manual in the
BZSR-2000 trial version CD-ROM.)
. Shut down the BZSR-2000. Remove the VSR-2000 front
panel and change the connection with a personal com-
puter to the EXT-232C connector on the front side.
. Rotate the service port selection switch to set it to the
slot in which the ENC-62 board is installed. (Slot 1 : 8,
Slot 2 : 9, Slot 3 : A)

. Start the terminal software (HyperTerminal in the case of
Windows) of a personal computer.
. Set the communication speed as follows:
Baud rate
Parity
Flow control
Stop bit length
Data bit length
Press the [ENTER] key of a personal computer to

check that the prompt AENC> appears on the terminal
software display.
