For safety reasons, it is very important that you follow the following safety precautions.
This ensures a responsible use of the DV-2, as well as your own safety and that of others.
Follow the rules and instructions listed in this guide.
Make sure that loose items such as tools and a fan, which has not yet been attached, cannot fall or be blown
off of the roof.
Make sure that the fan is disconnected from any electrical current when carrying out work on the fan.
Do not leave a (partially) dismantled fan unattended.
Make sure that the electrical parts do not get wet when carrying out work. This can cause e.g. short circuits.
The fan should be installed so that the suction side of the fan will not be in danger of coming into contact with
any persons. Otherwise the fan must be fitted with a protective grille (see DIN-EN-ISO 13857).
