Physical Characteristics of the Encoder Signals

Encoders can be connected to the board with an RS 422 or 24 V interface. The desired physical
characteristics must be selected with the two DIP switches (S1 and S2) on the board. See
chapter 3.4.
Caution
Since setting the wrong interface may destroy the board, make sure that all DIP
switches required for selection of the interface are set correctly.

The two track signals (A and B) of the encoder must be displaced by 90° to each other.
