Removing & Installing Body Components

Installation
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Right Engine Heat Guard &
Right Under Cowl
The right engine heat guard must be opened
to service the coolant reserve tank or to
check the engine number.
(VFR1200X)
The right under cowl must be removed to
service the engine oil filter.
(VFR1200XD)
The right under cowl must be removed to
service the engine oil filter and the clutch oil
filter.

Removal
1. Remove the clip.
2. Remove the prongs from the grommets.
3. Remove the right engine heat guard.
