Engine Covers, Removing and Installing

Removing
– Remove the front engine cover -1- or rear engine cover -2-
upward.
Installing
– In order to prevent causing damage, do not hit the engine cov‐
er with your fist or a tool.
– Position the engine cover on the engine and push in the clips
using both hands.
3.5 Air Filter Element, Removing and Instal‐
ling
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Silicon-free lubricant
Removing
Vehicles with Air Suspension
– Remove the circlip -1- from the hose coupling toward the front.
– Press the release ring -2- down lower -arrows- and remove the
ventilation hose -3- from the air filter upper section.
