3.10 Control Valve Control Unit - J808- , Re‐
moving and Installing
Removing
– Remove the rear engine cover. Refer to
⇒ "3.4 Engine Covers, Removing and Installing", page 27
– Disconnect the connector -3-.
– Remove the bolts -5 and 6-.
– Remove the bypass connection-1- with the adapter (inter‐
mediate flange) -2- and Control Valve Control Module - J808-
-4-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
• Tightening specification. Refer to
⇒ Fig. "" Control Valve Control Unit -J808- - Tightening Spec‐
ification and Sequence"" , page 33
Note
Replace the O-rings.

♦ Torque Wrench 1331 Insert - Ring Wrench - 11mm & 17mm -
VAG1331/2-
♦ Hand Vacuum Pump - VAS6213-

pressure.
♦ The fuel pressure must be reduced to residual pressure
before opening the high pressure area of the fuel injection
system. Refer to
