underbody shown in illustration -arrows- (near wheel hous‐
ings).
– Rear: Position support plates of lifting platform within indented
circles on underbody -arrows-.
2.2 Engine cover panel: removing and in‐
stalling

Procedure for removing:
– Carefully pull engine cover panel -1- off retaining pins one after
another -arrows-.
Procedure for installing:
– Position engine cover panel on retaining pins and then use
your hands to press it onto retaining pins, one after the other.

♦ Or: torque wrench - V.A.G 1410- , measuring range 4 to 20

♦ Or: torque wrench - VAS 6583- , measuring range 3 to 60 Nm
♦ Or: torque wrench - V.A.G 1331- , measuring range 6 to 50
