To pause during playback.

FEATU RE: Shuttle Search
To allow high-speed search in either

O PERATIO N : Forward Search
1) Press FF during playback.
Reverse Search
1) Press REW during playback.
Noise bars appear and pictures may

become monochrome or darken in
Shuttle Search. This is normal.
FEATU RE: Counter M emory Function
To make it easier to locate a specific
PU RPO SE:
tape segment.
1) Press CO U N TER R/ M and hold for
O PERATIO N :
more than 1 second. The counter
resets to " 0:00:00" .
2) Press CO U N TER R/ M for less than
1 second. " M" appears.
3) After recording or playback, press
STO P , then REW . The tape
automatically stops at or close to
0:00:00.
4) Press PLAY/ PAU SE to start
playback.
● The counter memory functions in
N O TES:
the Fast-Forward and Rewind
modes.
● To disable Counter Memory
Function, press CO U N TER R/ M for
less than 1 second so the " M"
disappears.
