MultiBoot (Advanced Users Only)

Enabling Media and Devices for MultiBoot

By default, the notebook can start only from a bootable hard drive
or bootable drive medium in the notebook.
The notebook can start up from the following devices only if they
have been enabled for inclusion in MultiBoot:
I
NIC
I
Hard drive inserted into an optional port replicator or
connected by USB
I
Diskette in diskette drive inserted into an optional port
replicator or connected by USB
I
Disk in optional, third-party disk drive inserted into an
optional port replicator or connected by USB
I
CD-ROM, CD-RW, or DVD in optical drive inserted into an
optional port replicator or connected by USB
To enable a device for inclusion in MultiBoot:
1. To open Computer Setup, turn on or restart the notebook,
then press
displayed in the lower left of the screen.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the Advanced menu > Device
Options.
