Nautica routers, by default, send out a CHAP re-challenge
every 60 seconds. If you are connecting from a remote router
then this does not cause problems as the router automatically
responds to the CHAP re-challenge. Problems do occur,
however, if your remote connection is from a PC.
Some PC client software (for example Windows 95 Dial-Up
Networking) does not respond to automatic CHAP
re-challenges. One symptom of this is that a call is dropped
after three minutes (the router sends out a CHAP
re-challenge every 60 seconds and does this three times).
To prevent this happening, you need to create a new PPP
Profile in Nautica Wizard that sets the CHAP Timeout
parameter to 0.
