NauticaRS 5.016R Release Notes for Nautica 200

Fixes since 4.128R - Router code:

4-2
ISDN bandwidth calculations have been modified to
correctly handle large demand and idle periods.
If the demand-period is set to zero and idle-period is
non-zero, the idle-period will be used for bringing down all
calls.
Path names beginning with a digit are now supported.
The IP filter mechanism has been significantly enhanced to
apply simultaneously to both inbound and outbound traffic.
The PPP code has been enhanced to correctly handle a BACP
Link Discriminator of zero.
The BACP logic now retries a Link Drop Query Request
when one is NAKed by the peer.
The TCP sliding window mechanism has been modified to
start at 2048 bytes to interwork with Bay Networks Extranet
Switch (formerly known as New Oak).
The PPP code has been enhanced to correctly handle the
auth-enable PPP Profile parameter being set to none.
The PPP LCP debug code has been enhanced to break out
individual LCP options.
A volatile route is now created when a PPP peer provides an
IP address by IPCP.
The PPP logic has been enhanced to handle LCP
re-negotiation.
The async PPP code now returns allocated memory to the
pool when done.
Buffer handling has been further improved to handle heavy
load (low buffer) conditions.
The NAT translation code has been moved into the PPP path
to avoid an internal error which previously could
occasionally cause FTP to fail after an ISDN link had idled
out and was re-established.
