Nautica Log

119136-D Rev. 00
While the unit is auto-sensing you see two SNMP trap message
boxes. The first says "Autosensing SPIDS" and the second says
either "SPID Autonsensing Completed" or "SPID Autosensing
Failed".
Note:
The second message may not appear if the ISDN cable is
not connected.
If the auto-sensing process is successful, the switch type, SPID
and local numbers are auto-learned and the Nautica 200 must be
rebooted.
If the autosensing fails, the SPIDS and switch type must be
entered manually and the Nautica 200 must be rebooted.
If it fails, and you are using BCC or Nautica Log, the following is
displayed in the Trace window:
(231,17960) ISDN: ISDN-TA01 R DETECT=NOK
(232,17963) ISDN: Failure to AUTOSENSE
Syslogging has been implemented on the router and a syslog PC
application (Nautica Log) has been included with the Nautica
Wizard. Output from the Trace window buffer is now also sent to
the syslog host, if one is configured. There are two new
parameters in the SYSTEM context:
syslog-host 0.0.0.0 <--- IP address to where syslog messages
log-local 0
should be delivered
<--- identification number of syslog stream
