Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool before
charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight
for long periods and do not place it on a
radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Connect the battery charger (17) to a
power outlet.
2. Push the battery (14) into the charging slot
of the battery charger (17).
3. After charging, disconnect the battery char-
ger (17) from the mains.
4. Pull the battery (14) out of the battery char-
ger (17).

Operation

Working instructions

• Only switch on the device when the band
saw blade is not touching the workpiece.
• Always hold the device by the handle (5)
and the auxiliary handle (1) when working.
• Select the appropriate cutting position for
your workpiece so that as many teeth of the
band saw blade (8) as possible are in the
cut (Fig. B).
• Wait until the device has reached full
speed. Place the device with the guide
plate (7) on the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure in the cut-
ting direction. Let the device do the work.
• After you have finished work, turn the
power tool off and do not pull the band
saw blade out of the cut until it has come to
a standstill.
• Do not touch the band saw blade after
working before it has cooled down.
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to uninten-
tional start-up. Only insert the rechargeable
battery into the device once the device is fully
prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect battery
can damage the device and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (14) along the guide into
the battery holder (13).
✔ You will hear the battery click into place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (16) on
the battery (14).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery holder
(13).

Switching on and off

Switching on
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (14) into
the device.
2. Set the speed of the band saw blade using
the rotary wheel (Rotary wheel) (2).
3. Press the switch lock (3).
4. Press and hold the On/off switch (4).
5. Release the switch lock (3).
6. Wait until the device has reached full
speed.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch (4).
2. Do not pull the band saw blade (8) out of
the cut until it has come to a standstill.
3. Remove the rechargeable battery from the
device if you are leaving the device unatten-
ded or if you have finished working.
