14 Assembling the Pole Pruner

► If the gearbox cannot be pushed onto the drive tube up to
mark b:
► Remove the chain sprocket cover (6) by turning the
nut (7) counterclockwise.
► Turn the chain sprocket (8) until you can push the
gearbox to mark b on the drive tube.
► Replace the chain sprocket cover and secure the nut
after mounting your bar and chain, @ 14.6.1.

14.2 Mounting the Motor Housing

► Switch off the pole pruner, @ 16.2.
► Remove the battery, @ 15.2.
► Loosen the screws (9).
► Remove the protective tubing (10).

► Remove the cap (11) from the round end of the drive
tube (2).
► Rotate the drive tube until it can be inserted into the
opening in the control handle (12). This may require
rotating the drive shaft back and forth until the two align.
► Push it in direction of the control handle until c = 0.8 in. (2
cm).

► Align the motor housing (13) and gearbox (3) as shown.
Make sure the battery opening and oil cap are facing up.
► Tighten the screws (9).

14.3 Cutting Attachment

WARNING
If non-matching components are used, the cutting
attachment will be damaged beyond repair after a short
period of operation, and the chain could de-rail, resulting in
serious or fatal personal injury.
