Red LED extinguishes.
NOTE: Press Select button after all ten chime options are sampled, it starts over and returns to first chime option.

CHIME VOLTAGE OUTPUT OPTIONS

The CH Terminal provides an output voltage whenever the chime button is pressed. The duration of this
output voltage is set by 1of 4 programming options. This is used to activate the Aux device connected to the
Door Station.
Chime Output Options
Option #1
Single flash - Voltage present for duration of Bell Press (DEFAULT)
Option #2
Double flash - Voltage present for duration of Chime
Option #3
Triple flash - Voltage present for 10 seconds from moment of Bell Press
Option #4
Quad flash - Voltage present for 30 seconds from moment of Bell Press
NOTE: The chime output voltage duration can be changed by means of the two programming switches (SEL & PROG)
situated on the door station circuit board.
Procedure
1. Press the Program button (PROG)
2. The red LED illuminates and the current chime is played.
3. Press the Program button again to select voltage output option mode – The red LED flashes the current
output voltage option. One flash is Option 1 above, two flashes option 2 etc.
4. Press the Select button (SEL) – The next output option is flashed by the red LED.
5. Repeatedly press the Select button until the desired voltage output option is flashed by the red LED.
6. Press the Program button again to lock in selection and exit program mode – The red LED extinguishes.
NOTE: Pressing the Select button after all 4 output options have been sampled, will return to the first output option.
Remote Door Strike/Opening the Door
Optional Equipment:
Linear DRW, DRW power supply (Linear RT11 or RT35) and 12V 2 to 5 Amp relay*.
Feature Description:
When the doorbell is pressed and the call is answered, the answering party can remotely activate the door strike to allow the door to open. The
door strike will stay active for 4 seconds and can be re-activated as many times as needed while the communication channel from the door to the
station is active. The communication channel will remain active for 20 seconds after the Door button is released.
Installation Instructions:
1.
From the Door Station, connect the Blue wire (or LOCK OP COM+ at the Master Unit) to one of the Coil posts on the relay.
2.
From the Door Station, connect the White wire (or LOCK OP LKx, where x is 1,2 or 3 corresponding to the door number the strike it to
activate, at the Master Unit) to the other Coil post on the relay.
3.
From the RT11 or RT35, connect one wire to the Normally Closed post on the Relay.
4.
From the RT11 or RT35, connect the other wire to one of the wires on the DRW door strike.
5.
From the Relay, connect a wire from the Common post to the remaining wire on the DRW Door Strike.
VMC1 Configuration Instructions: No additional setup required.
Note that this function will only operate from a Room station or the master after that station has responded to a door chime.
This eliminates the possibility of accidentally activating a door strike from a station.
