System indicates Magnet Stop error!
Hazardous conditions because the magnet cannot be
quenched in case of emergency
◆ Immediately remove the patient from the magnet.
◆ Restrict the access to the examination room.
◆ Notify Siemens Service.
Typically there are two Emergency Shut-down switches installed:
one near the alarmbox and another one in the examination room.
The switch is used to switch off the electric power of the entire MR
system.
Depending on your configuration, there might be no such

Emergency Shut-down switch at your system. If available, use
the Mains power supply switch. If none of both switches is
installed, please use the System Off switch at the alarm box to
switch off the electric power of the entire MR system.

Fire or electrical accidents!

◆ Press the Emergency Shut-down switch immediately.
◆ Contact your fire department.
The System Off switch at the alarm box is used to switch off the
