SoftWire Panel Button and Feedback Assignments
The SoftWire Panel Buttons are assigned to relays
in the SX16+ using the same procedure as the
transmitter assignments.
To Enter Mode 3
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 3 Simultaneously
After entering Mode 3, pressing and holding any
one button on a SoftWire Control Panel and then
pressing one or more front panel buttons on the
SX16+ will mate that button to those relays.
If one or more LEDs light when panel button is first
pushed, that button may have already been
assigned to those relays.
To de-assign, press the SoftWire button and also
press the lit LED. It should toggle off and no longer
be assigned to that button.
If Changes are desired
Exit With Changes
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 13 Simultaneously
If just checking status -
Exit Without Changes
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 14 Simultaneously

SoftWire Panel Feedback Assignment
The Standard SoftWire Panel from AMX also
includes LED feedback or status information on the
panel.
These LEDs are mounted in the center of each
button on the SoftWire Panel and normally report
the status of the relay a particular button is
controlling.
The LEDs may be assigned to respond to other
relays in the system using the following procedure.
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 3 Simultaneously
After entering Mode 3, pressing and holding any
one button on the front panel of an SX16+ and
THEN pressing one or more buttons on a SoftWire
Panel will mate that relay channel to the LEDs in
the buttons pushed on the SoftWire Panel.
This Mode is the reverse of button assignments to
relays; the SX16+ button is the FIRST to be
pressed and then held.
If Changes are Desired
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 13 Simultaneously
If just checking status -
Press Buttons 15, 16 and 14 Simultaneously
