Various settings may be entered into each SX16+
in a control system by pressing combinations of
front panel buttons. Pressing these buttons while in
a programming mode does not operate the relays
inside as usual but either enters, exits or makes
changes to the various programs.
The relays will operate again after exiting the
various program modes.
Note: The SX16+ relays do not operate while in any
program mode because the controlled equipment
may already be installed and inadvertently activated
while pressing buttons for programming purposes.
For this same reason a small delay is built into front
panel buttons #15 and #16 when in their normal
control mode. The delay is enough to make sure
BOTH buttons are pressed (for the Initial 'Enter
Program Mode' command) before a relay can be
activated.
This delay is only apparent when the relays are
activated from the front panel buttons.

Front Panel Programming
Care should be taken while in all program modes.
Many systems may contain complex programming,
done either through the front panel modes
discussed here or via a computer. Possible conflicts
with prior programming could occur and relays may
not operate as programmed.
Also, entering a program mode on one SX16+ in a
system will in most cases put all other SX16+
Controllers into the same mode, ready to program.
If no changes were made to those SX16+s before
exiting the program mode, their settings will not be
changed.
