7. Measure the distance between the ground and
the bottom of the blade tip on the side opposite
to the discharge side. The distance must be the
same as the distance for the discharge side.
If adjustment is necessary, adjust the 2 front
nuts until the 2 side to side distance are equal.
Tighten the 2 front nuts.
8. Turn the blades to align with the cutting deck
front to rear.
9. Adjust the 2 rear nuts until the rear blade tips
are set 1/4–3/8 in. / 6.4–9.5 mm higher than the
center blade tips.
10. Measure the distance between the ground and
the front and rear edges of the cutting deck.
Make sure that the rear edge is 1/5 in. / 4–6 mm
higher than the front edge.
To adjust the neutral position
1. Use a lifting device to lift up the rear part of the
product until the rear wheels are off the ground.
2. Put a stable object below the product and make
sure that the product cannot move forward or
rearward.
3. Loosen the 2 socket head cap screws found on
the pumps at the front of the product for the side
where adjustment is necessary. A 3/8" hex key
is necessary. Also an extension or long hex key
may be necessary.
Note:
Do not remove the 2 socket head cap
screws.
4. Start the product.
5. Engage the OPC levers.
6. Disengage the parking brake.

7. Adjust the top nut with a 9/16" socket or wrench
until the rear wheel is stationary when the control
levers are in the neutral position.
a) Tighten the top nut to make the rear wheel go
in reverse.
b) Loosen the top nut to make the rear wheel go
forward.
Note:
Push the control levers and let them
release back into neutral position during the
adjustment procedure.
8. Torque the 2 socket head cap screws to 75 ± 15
ft-lb.
9. Do adjustment for the other side if it is
necessary.
To adjust the neutral switches
1. Engage the parking brake.
2. Loosen the jam nuts on the left and right side of
the product with a wrench.
3. Adjust the neutral bolt on the left side of the
product until the plunger on the neutral switch is
flush with the surface of the neutral switch.
4. Adjust the neutral bolt on the right side of the
product until the bolt does not touch the plunger.
5. Do the steps that follow on the right side of the
product.
