Beeper

You can select the options for when the beeper will sound. Your choices are
OFF, KEYS ONLY, ALARM ONLY and KEYS/ALARM. The default
setting is KEYS/ALARM.
From
any
screen.

ARROW KEYS to
highlight BEEPER.

Personalize

With the personalize function, you have the option of
inputting your name into the MAP 410 receiver.
From
any
MENU
screen.
Use UP/DOWN
ENTER
ARROW KEYS to
MARK
highlight ON or OFF.

Clearing Memory

The Clear Memory function allows you to delete track history, backtrack
waypoints, waypoints and routes as well as reset defaults to the factory
defaults. There is also an option to delete everything in the receiver's
memory. Use caution when accessing the Clear Memory function. Once
you have deleted, you cannot undo the process or retrieve this deleted
data.

highlight CLEAR MEMORY.
If you select clear all memory, the receiver will clear all waypoints and
routes, restore the default settings and then power itself off. Non-User
waypoints will remain in your receiver's memory.
