Setting the fully reclined position
To set the fully reclined position: press button

The rear seat will move into the fully

reclined position.
The front passenger seat will move into the

position for chauffeur mode.
The footrest will move out from under the

front passenger seat.
If available, the leg rest will rise.

To restore the standard seat settings: press

button 1.

You can use the rear-compartment child
safety lock to disable this function

page 87).

The leg rest will fold down if overloaded. If this
is the case, fold up the leg rest and engage it.

adjusted head restraints
If head restraints have not been adjusted cor-
rectly, there is an increased risk of injury in
the head and neck area, e.g. in the event of an
accident or sudden braking.
Before driving off, make sure for every

vehicle occupant that the centre of the
head restraint supports the back of the
head at about eye level.
Adjust the head restraint fore-and-aft position so
that it is as close as possible to the back of your
head.
