Moving the
scanner
Warning:
Failure to lock
the scan mechanism before
moving the scanner can
cause internal damage.
If you need to transport the scanner, follow these instructions to
relock the scanner:

Open the document cover.

Turn the scanner on.

When the scanning mechanism reaches the far right side of the
scanner glass, turn the scanner off.

Close the document cover.
5
Raise the scanner high enough to move the switch down to the
locked position.
