Setting up the printer base
• The printer base provides stability when configuring the printer plus options in various configurations. Such configurations may include
these options along with the printer: up to three 250-sheet drawers or 500-sheet drawers or any combination of three drawers, a
2000-sheet drawer with up to two 250-sheet drawers or 500-sheet drawers or one of each, or a duplex unit.

- Page 5 • Place the metal part of the base on the floor. Attach the plastic part of the base on top. Make sure they fit together firmly. Continue with part A if you plan to use 250- or 500-sheet drawers only. Continue with part B if you plan to use the 2000-sheet drawer alone or in combination with 250- or 500-sheet drawers.
