6.3 Remote commissioning with PDM FCT010

Opening device in energized state
Risk of explosion in hazardous areas
• Only open the device in a de-energized state.
• Check prior to commissioning that the cover, cover locks, and cable inlets are assembled in
Exception: Devices having the type of protection "Intrinsic safety Ex i" may also be opened in
energized state in hazardous areas.
Improper handling
The sensor connected to this device can be operated with high pressure and corrosive media.
Therefore improper handling of the device can lead to serious injuries and/or considerable
material damage.
6.2

General requirements

Before commissioning it must be checked that:
• The device has been installed and connected in accordance with the guidelines provided
in Installing/mounting (Page 27) and Connecting (Page 41).
• Device installed in hazardous areas meets the requirements described in Use in hazardous
areas (Page 15).
6.3 Remote commissioning with PDM FCT010
Commissioning and operation with pending error
If an error message appears, correct operation in the process is no longer guaranteed.
• Check the gravity of the error.
• Correct the error.
• If the error still exists:
