3.2. No picture is output (Analog to HDMI)
No picture is output.
(1) Is the set's input set to ANALOG VIDEO input(CVBS/S/
COMPONENT)?
The set does not recognize the TV.
(2) Is TP [HP_TX] set to the "H"(3V-5V)?
With the TV connected,check the voltage of the IC on the side on
which the TV is connected.
Is communication waveform confirmed in TP[DDCTX_SCL/
DDCTX_SDA]?
Is D28/D29/D30/D31/D32/D33/D34/D35 terminated by the TMDS
signal of 3.3V and is the signal output?
The input circuitry is defective.
(U4, IC9 or IC12 and surrounding circuitry)
Check operation of each device.
(AMP source : SAT[CVBS/COMPONENT],DOCK[S]
/ ANALOG Video input of player : [480i/Color bar signal]
/ Connect the TV.)
Check operation of U4(ADV7844).
(3) Check the input signal
Is ANALOG VIDEO signal confirmed with the following point?
COMPONENT-Y : FB66
COMPONENT-Cb : FB64
COMPONENT-Cr : FB62
S-Y : FB68
S-C : FB70
V : FB68
(4) Check power supply.
Are 1.8V confirmed in the checkpoint of Detail F (75 page)?
Are 3.3V confirmed in the checkpoint of Detail F (75 page)?
(5) Check RESET.
Is RESET waveform confirmed in TP[ADV7844_RESET], when
the power is turned on? (If the waveform is not the reference
waveform, proceed to NO.)
(6) Check xtal oscillator.
Is oscillation of X1(28.6363MHz) transmitted?
(7) Check Control signal (I2C).
Is waveform confirmed in TP[HSCL/HSDA], when the power
is turned on? (If the waveform is not the reference waveform,
proceed to NO.)
