CHANGING A FUSE

WARNINGS
Do not modify the electrical system
of your vehicle in any way. Have
repairs to the electrical system and
the replacement of relays and high current
fuses carried out by a properly trained
technician.
Switch the ignition and all electrical
equipment off before touching or
attempting to change a fuse.

Fuses
Fit a replacement fuse with the same
rating as the one you have removed.
Note: You can identify a blown fuse by a
break in the filament.
Note: All fuses, except high current fuses,
are a push fit.
Note: A fuse puller is located in the engine
compartment fuse box.

FUSE LABELS

The fuse chart label located on the rear
side of the panel trim will help you identify
the fuses. Depending on the vehicle variant
the necessary fuses and relays may vary.
The fuse chart label shows rectangles
representing a fuse or relay. The following
information is shown in the rectangles:

Number of the fuse
2
Symbol of the function
3
Ampere rating of the fuse
