Make sure the window is in good shape and able to firmly hold the needed screws. If not, make repairs prior to installing the unit. Pull down the front panel and remove the filter. (See Fig. 3) 2. Lift the front panel upwards to remove and place to the side. Fig. 3 Fig. 4 3. Locate the four faceplate screws and remove. These screws will need to be re-installed prior to mounting the air con- ditioner.
