7 Installing the device

7.1 Mounting the device

NOTICE! Damage hazard
The controller warms up during operation. Make sure it is installed on a non-flammable
surface.

Allow at least 5cm of space around the controller for proper cooling.

The controller must be mounted as close to the battery as possible.

The controller is designed to be mounted vertically.
1. Drill 4 holes.
2. Mount the controller with appropriate fasteners.
7.2 Choosing proper wires and fuses

For proper operation of the charging system, choose the size of wires between the
solar panel and the battery carefully.

Do not exceed wire length of 7.6 m from solar panel to the battery.
