The range hood should be turned on for a few minutes before cooking:

– To establish air currents up-ward through the range hood.
– Help remove hot air from your kitchen and keep the range hood surface cool.
When heat, smoke, moisture, grease and cooking odors are produced, they will be
carried outside instead of drifting into other rooms.

Turn the range hood fan on or off.

Always use the MAX setting when grilling.
