6 Replacement of FMT/DMD Unit
• For this work, be sure to ground your body and work
bench. (Refer to " Grounding for electrostatic breakdown
prevention" on p.2.)
• Be careful to protect the DMD unit and mirror against
dust, dirt and any other contaminant.
• Prepare a screwdriver with torque meter.
It is necessary to tighten screws of the FMT/DMD Unit to
the 6kg tightening torque.
• Never polish the surface of DMD.
Scratched DMD will be unusable.
• If dusting is necessary, be sure to use Mister Dust 450
134a or its equivalent.
6-1 Removal of FMT/DMD Unit
a. Remove connectors CB905, CB907 and CB908. (Fig. 15)
b. Disconnect the cable (50P) from the cable stopper.
(Fig. 15)
c. Remove 2 screws marked [
(Fig. 15)
d. Remove the Cover FMT. (Fig. 15)
e. Remove 3 screws marked [
f. Remove the FMT/DMD Unit. (Fig. 16)]
g. Cover the DMD window of the main unit with gummed
cloth tape to protect it against entry of dust. (Fig. 17)

6 FMT/DMDユニットの交換のしかた
・この作業には、必ず人体アース・作業台アースを行って
ください。 （2ページの 「静電気破壊防止のためのアース
処理」 を参照）
・ DMD ユニット及びミラー部分に、 ゴミ、 埃、 汚れが付か
ないように注意してください。
・ トルクメーター付きドライバーを用意してください。
FMT/DMDユニットの取り付けネジの仕様は、締付トル
ク6kgでネジ締めされています。
・ DMDの表面は、絶対に磨かないでください。
DMDに傷が付いた場合、使用不能となります。
・ 埃を取り除く場合、必ずミスターダスト450 134aまた
は同等品を使ってください。
6-1 FMT/DMDユニットの取り外し
a. コネクターCB905, CB907, CB908を外します。 （Fig. 15）
b. ケーブル （50P） をケーブルストッパーから外します。

g. 本体のDMD窓には、埃の進入を防ぐためガムテープで
覆ってください。 （Fig. 17）
