FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURES／ファームウェアの更新方法
This application package is a program updating tool.
Required tools
• DOS/V machine, OS: Windows 95/98/Me/XP, PC with a
serial port (RS232C)
• Program upgrading program (Athena-******.exe)
****** varies depending on versions.
• RS232C cross cable "D-sub 9 pin female"
Same cable as the one used for updating the version of
the amplifier, DPX-1

Preparation and caution before starting the ba-
sic operation
• Download "Athena-******.exe" from the specified source
to the PC being used.
• Prepare the above specified RS232C cross cable.
(The cable being used for DPX-1, if any, is usable. Use of
any other cable may hinder the data communication.)
• Confirm the version of the firmware before rewriting (by
checking Program Version Request section in the service
utility program) and write it down.
• While writing, keep the other application software on the
PC closed. It is also recommended to keep the software
on the task tray closed as well.

基本操作前の準備と注意
・ ＰＣへ指定のダウンロード先から Athena-******.exe を
ダウンロードしてください。
・ RS232Cクロスケーブルは必ず上記仕様のものを用意し
てください。
(DPX-1 で使用していたケーブルがあればそのケーブ
ルは使用できます。他のケーブルではデータ通信出来な
い可能性があります。 ）
・ 書き換え前のファームウェアのバージョンを（サービ
スユーティリティプログラムの Program Version
Request の項で）確認し、メモしてください。
・ 書き込み時は、ＰＣ上の他のアプリケーショソフトは
閉じてください。
さらに、タスクトレイ上にあるソフトも閉じておくこと
を推奨します。
