Use the rack mount template

Know the following about the EIA units located on the front and rear of your rack:
Each EIA unit consists of three holes.
The holes along the rail within each EIA unit are not evenly spaced.
Each EIA unit begins at the point where the hole spacing is closest together.
Depending on the rack manufacturer, the EIA units might be separated either by
color or by a line.
5.1
Remove the protective coating from each adhesive strip located on the back of the
rack-mount template. Lightly press the template into position on the rack.
Ensure that both the left and right sides are at corresponding EIA locations.
5.2
Beginning with step 1, follow the instructions
printed on both sides of the rack-mount template.
